OBJECTIVE 

Integrate a REST API with JP Morgan’s Transactions (Account Balance) endpoint to automate hourly checks from Salesforce, retrieving new transactions and creating payment records. Authentication uses a JWT token, retrieved on the first call and used for subsequent requests.

  • API Limits: Managing hourly checks within limits while maintaining data integrity.
  • Data Mapping: Aligning API data with Salesforce fields and implementing deduplication.

APPROACH 

Developed automated hourly API calls from Salesforce to JP Morgan. As part of phase I initial calls retrieve a JWT token, followed by transaction checks that create payment records in Salesforce.
