Did you know that Syrainfotek DBA CloudQ is a U.S. certified minority-owned business? This means that with the Minority Entrepreneur Enterprise (MBE) Certification, CloudQ can take advantage of small business set-asides for contracting opportunities within Fortune 500 U.S. corporations.

On October 13^th – 16^th, the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) and it’s 23 U.S. Councils descended in the city of Atlanta, along with over 600 National Corporate Members. Mercedes Benz, World Wide Technology, AT&T, and Bristol-Myers Squibb are just a few corporations who welcomed MBEs and Corporate Members at pre and post networking parties.

The NMSDC held workshops, breakfast and luncheons with guest speakers and panel discussions. Then on Tuesday, October 15^th, the Council hosted a 400+ tradeshow in which CloudQ participated in with a booth.

The results of our attendance will continue to be tallied, however, CloudQ was approached by Emory University, PennState, and Apex Systems who specifically sought us out for upcoming RFP opportunities. We also learned how to do business with companies like Lear Corporation, the US Department of Health and Human Services, Tuck University, Cox, the Southern Company, PNC, IBM, Duke Energy, Dow, and more. These are opportunities that we may not have otherwise known about if it were not for our attendance at this event.
