1. Can you tell us a bit about your journey and what inspired you to choose a career in business analysis?

My journey started in a way that’s probably familiar to many: pure curiosity. Early in my career, I started my own business in digital marketing. I utilized Facebook Ads, Google Ads, Amazon Ads & Flipkart Ads for my clients and later obtained an Amazon Trained Ecom Specialist role and got to know about Salesforce CRM for the first time when I started using it at Amazon, Watching the way technology transformed how we interacted with customers fascinated me. Getting a deeper insight to CRM and automation impacts business widely, and I became deeply curious about how businesses connect the dots between processes, technology, and people.

Later, I had the opportunity to work with CloudQ, where I’ve honed my skills further and discovered that business analysis is about so much more than solving problems. It’s about uncovering the why behind the problem and guiding others toward solutions they may not have considered. That realization is what inspired me to fully embrace this field and build a career around making a meaningful difference for businesses and their customers.

2. What’s one thing about you that most people don’t know but should?

I’m a strong believer in the power of active listening. While most people know I’m analytical, what they don’t realize is how much of my success comes from genuinely listening to others—not just hearing their words but understanding their intent. It’s a skill that has shaped how I approach both my professional and personal life.

3. What’s your favorite part of working with teams on CRM projects?

Collaboration is my favorite part. I love seeing how different perspectives come together to create a solution that’s better than anything we could have built individually. With CRM projects specifically, I enjoy seeing how the work impacts the end user—whether it’s a sales team closing deals faster or a customer service team delivering better support. Those tangible outcomes remind me why we do what we do.

4. How do you usually start your mornings to set the tone for a productive day?

My mornings are pretty structured—I start with a quick 15 minutes of journaling to outline my top priorities for the day in my planner and reflect on any challenges from the day before. Then, I like to take a long walk with my black coffee w/o sugar. It clears my mind and helps me tackle the day with focus.

5. Do you prefer tackling challenges head-on or taking a more reflective approach before acting?

I’d say it’s a mix of both, but my instinct is to reflect first. Over the years, I’ve learned that taking a moment to step back and assess the bigger picture often saves a lot of time and energy. That said, when a situation demands urgency, I’m not afraid to dive in, take action, and make adjustments as needed. I also believe in handling challenges independently whenever possible, escalating to higher officials only if I encounter a genuine blocker. This approach reflects my respect for their time and aligns with my belief in how an efficient hierarchy should operate.

6. If you could describe your working style in three words, what would they be?

Collaborative. Strategic. Empathetic.

7. What was the first big problem you solved professionally, and how did it make you feel?

I’ll never forget leading my first CRM implementation, a project that had been stalled for over two years. The main challenge was aligning the system with the needs of multiple departments, each with its own priorities, while also navigating big hurdles and working with new team members. It required a delicate balance of diplomacy and technical expertise. When we finally went live, the entire team celebrated, and I felt an incredible sense of accomplishment—not just because we completed the project, but because we created a solution that genuinely added value to the business.

8. What energizes you the most during a typical workday?

Networking and conversations with people and clients. Whether it’s brainstorming in a team meeting or getting feedback from users, I thrive on the energy of collaboration. It’s those moments of connection that keep me motivated.

9. Do you have a go-to mantra or quote that helps you stay focused or motivated?

“Progress, not perfection.” It’s a simple reminder that moving forward is more important than obsessing over getting everything exactly right. In business analysis, that mindset is essential.

10. If you could work from anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?

I’d love to work from a small coastal town in Italy, somewhere with a view of the sea. The combination of natural beauty and the slower pace of life would be the perfect backdrop for focusing on deep, meaningful work.

11. What’s one non-work-related skill or hobby you’re proud of?

I’ve become quite the fitness enthusiast over the years! It’s a hobby that keeps me grounded and reminds me of the value of patience and nurturing growth—skills that carry over to my work as well.

12. What’s your favorite way to celebrate a big win, personally or professionally?

Personally, I enjoy a nice dinner with close friends or family. Professionally, I make a point to acknowledge the team’s contributions in a meaningful way—whether that’s a small celebration, a handwritten thank-you note, or public recognition.

13. If you weren’t a CRM Business Analyst, what do you think you’d be doing instead?

I’d probably be a business management and automation consultant. As my father is a businessman and has a deep understanding of customers and retail business. I’ve worked along with him since childhood, and I’ve always been passionate about helping businesses grow by leveraging technology to create a positive impact as a result. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of how technology drives growth and transforms environments, and I’d love to apply that knowledge to help organizations thrive.

14. Who’s had the biggest impact on your professional growth, and what’s the best advice they’ve given you?

One of my early mentors taught me that “Your job is not to be the smartest person in the room; it’s to help others see their own brilliance.” That advice has stayed with me and shaped the way I approach leadership and collaboration.

15. Do you have any routines or rituals to wind down after a long day?

I try to unplug from screens at least an hour before bed and spend time with family. Most evenings, I’ll spend some time reading or taking a quiet walk. It’s a way to reset and recharge.

16. If you could give one piece of life advice to your younger self, what would it be?

Don’t be afraid to ask questions or make mistakes. Every misstep is an opportunity to learn and grow, and curiosity is one of your greatest assets. Keep doing one step beyond what you did yesterday, and do it with discipline.
